The Great Equalizer.

Hi! Wow.. It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it?

Yes, life for me has been hectic lately. I lost my uncle and a best friend in the same week of November. I held the hand of my lifelong best friend as we released balloons at her sons memorial. I’ve moved twice in 2020 already, but absolutely LOVE my new home. 🙂 I changed career paths and I finally created a podcast that fuels me and I recently cured my cats UTI with apple cider vinegar!

I suggest taking a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar every morning, especially right now.. magic.

I haven’t worked since March 24..

I try to find a positive given any situation. This pandemic has forced the hard working people of our country to slow down, take a look around, reconnect with ourselves. Rich, poor, black, white, purple, green.. your social status, what car you drive, if you’re a server, janitor, teacher, lawyer, famous, young or old.. at this moment, we are all equally fighting this virus together, helping one another, coming together as a nation should.

A friend of mine described Covid as “The Great Equalizer”.

Social distancing, quarantine, unemployment, deaths, face masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, toilet paper shortage, avoiding contact with one another by any means necessary. What will life, as we once knew it, be like as we slowly begin to emerge from our homes? I feel it will never be the same.

I was recently a guest on the podcast Life’s A Trip where we talked about mental health and my eating disorder. Opening up about my disorder and being a voice for anyone who needs to be heard, lit a major fire under my little ass. I need to start writing again and continue being that voice I once was.

Well.. IM BACK! 🙂

I will update you about my eating disorder in the next post. What’s changed? Have I progressed? Also, I want to talk about my i still learning podcast and what to expect over the next couple of weeks. It’s pretty exciting!! 😁

Until next time, remember to wash your hands!

Love Mo
